Endowments
An endowment gift is one of the most powerful gifts you can give to Duke Athletics. Named scholarships can be designated for a particular sport, combination of sports, or for athletics in general. Outright gifts of cash, stock, real estate, etc. are all options for funding endowed scholarships. More and more endowment funds are being created through planned gifts and estate planning utilizing the same assets listed above, and including retirement accounts. Athletics Development officers and Planned Giving officers will assist you with structuring your gift. Gifts in amounts less than $100,000 can be added to endowment funds already in place for each sport.

Capital Projects
To continue in our quest for excellence in both athletics and academics, Duke must have the resources to recruit the very best student-athletes and retain gifted coaches who are able to guide them to greatness. We must also bring key facilities up to the modern standards of an elite athletics program without compromising our history and tradition.
